Rogue Valley Model Railroad Club

Also at the Medford RR park...

The Rogue Valley Model RR Club, has a large facility leased from the city of Medford Parks dept. right at the RR park. After riding the trains at "steamers", walk on over and see the large model rr layout. It feature's some local landmarks as well as their own freelanced "Pacific & Eastern RR". Several club members are on hand to answer questions.
Also look for the annual Model Train Show & Swap Meet, the weekend after Thanksgiving at the Medford Armory.

This is one of the first things you see as you walk in the door, the two large train yards end to end, complete with a round house and several other features found at a real yard.
The Transfer Facility has always been one of my favorite features on the layout.
Train goes by one of the saw mills.
This gives some idea as to the size of the room / layout
Here, Dave Spakousky is cleaning the track with a "bright boy"
What would a model RR be without a few tunnels?
The layout is high enough so , this is a "kid's eye view"
Of course, kid's love to count the cars, my son Chris' arm is busy doing just that.
E. Don Pettit explains some of the features to a guest.
Here is a switcher sanding up at the service facility.
