ARGUS 'SUPER SEVENTY-FIVE'

THE CAMERA:

I got this camera along with the Petri 7s at a flea market, also for $10. It was in excellent shape, even the strap, which is embedded into the camera, looks new. a little cleaning is all it took. Made in between 1954 and 1958, this camera was their top of the line TLR at the time. It has a crystal clear lens you look down into, as opposed to a frosted glass, which is desirable to me and others for using in my TtV photography.

FIXES:

Cleaned the surface with Meguiar's Leather Foam. I've discovered the Meguiar's works great on Bakelite and just about everything. The foaming action gets deep into the crooks and crannies. Just wipe clean, no scrubbing.
