KODAK RETINA II

TYPE 014

THE CAMERA:

This is a type 014 Retina II from 1949-1950. It is in incredible condition, all shutter speeds work, even the self timer. It's only flaw, besides normal wear is, it is missing the "Retina" leatherette on the front cover.

It has the Compur-Rapid shutter and the Schneider-Kreuznach Retina-Xenon 50mm 1:2 lens. The glass is flawless, no marks, scratches, fungus or mold.

FIXES:

I gave the top end a CLA, removing the top plate and cleaning the winding gears and rangefinder optics. I cleaned and greased the shutter release button and rangefinder linkage. I cleaned the exterior chrome and leatherette as well as the lens chrome and front and rear elements I have some images of the CLA here.
